First Temple of Kahlo Kodosh Beneh Abraham from H. A. Lorberg

In December 1858 the newly formed Kahlo Kodosh Beneh Abraham (K.K.B.A.) congregation dedicated their first temple worship space. The first temple was located on the corner of Third and Washington in a three story building owned by Thomas Dugan. This building was used for worship and events for the congregation until 1921 shortly before the construction of the second temple. The building was shared between Beneh Abraham and the Portsmouth Masonic Lodge.
