With the hills of Kentucky in the background and fans crowded around the field, this image is the only known photograph of live play between the Shoe-Steels and their great rival, the Tanks. This image was obtained from an original hardcopy of the Portsmouth Daily Times, which published the photograph on November 7th, 1927.
